The material is highly durable and maintenance-free, as it will not deteriorate after many years of service due to the inherent stability of acrylic. Acrylic plexiglass can be used at temperatures ranging from -40°F (-40°C) up to +200°F (93°C), depending on the application, and is recommended for continuous service up to 180°F or short periods of up to 200°F.

The back of the grille is flat with no protrusion, making it very easy to attach to the wall or ceiling without any scratches or sides of the cover hanging around. The installation process is straightforward and fast, requiring only self-adhesive silicone, so no screws or other hard work is required.
